Shropshire TLC Donates its 30,000th Teddy

TLC Shropshire chose NHS and Frontline Workers’ Day to celebrate the donation of their 30,000th teddy and to thank staff for their hard work.

It’s impossible to ascertain exactly when and where but the 30,000th teddy has recently been given to a child in need of comfort and reassurance. To mark the occasion, Deputy PGM Jeremy Lund and Tom Kiely of Caer Caradoc Lodge met with the team at Princess Royal Hospital, Telford which has given away more TLC teds than any other centre in the Province.

Allen Cadman, Shropshire’s coordinator for the TLC scheme said:

We’re delighted to celebrate both NHS Day and this milestone for Shropshire TLC with staff from the Princess Royal Hospital. As Freemasons, we join with the whole country to say a huge ‘thank you’ to all those who work so hard to take care of us and our loved ones

Eleven years after starting TLC in Shropshire the colourful TLC teddies are now in all the A&E departments and Minor Injuries units and have become a familiar sight in the Provinces’ treatment centres. A wonderful achievement!
